Why Participate in Southern Capital Project Research?

Southern Capital Project wants to hear the story of how you started and are growing your business. We are seeking small business owners who have been in business for six years or less to participate in various online focus groups we are holding with small business owners from Kansas City, Missouri, and Little Rock, Arkansas.

Business Colleagues

We Want to Hear Your Story

We are exploring the experiences of starting and scaling a business and the support entrepreneurs receive from their local community. We want to talk with entrepreneurs currently conducting business in Kansas City, Missouri, and Little Rock, Arkansas.

About our Research

Our research uses the stories and feedback of business owners to examine the challenges and opportunities they face when starting and growing their businesses.

Participating in our study allows you to share your experiences and perspectives on what support you received from your family, community, and local government as a small business owner.

When the research is complete, we will inform your local small business support organizations, government officials, and others in your community about improving support for entrepreneurs like you.

What will I receive?

Upon completion of participating in our virtual focus groups and interviews via Zoom in January 2024, you will receive compensation of $200 in the form of a digital gift card. If interested, you may also receive an additional $50 for participating in a follow-up survey for marketing purposes.
